Spatterings

Today was an interesting day… three people inquired – three questions left unanswered.

The first girl noticed, but she is too depressed to comprehend.

The second girl pried, but she is too innocent to jade.

The third girl asked, but she is too selfish to care.

Surrounded.  Alone.  When it is too fragile to disturb, what is the difference?

Today was an interesting day.

---

Perpetual dissonance birthed from static frustration.

Intrinsic dismay augmented by foreign confirmation.

The flaws lie within each laceration.

A desecration, mutated emancipation.

Where relief only comes by decapitation!

---

I find myself at a loss.  A loss of motivation and purpose…

Hours meander by; meaning dissipates.

And all I can do is watch the cursor blink.

A.D.D.

I helped a friend today.  After seeing her excitement over a job well done, i felt bad.  I think i care in quenchless desire to completely stop.  Why can't school work be interesting enough to distract?

Blogging For A Cause

Favorite Non-Profit:  Wokai

Why We Exists

In China, approximately 200 million people live on less than $1 a day. That’s almost twice the population of Mexico. China’s income gap is one of the most severe among developing countries worldwide. The economic boom has enriched China's urban areas with public services and employment opportunities, while leaving rural incomes and living standards stagnant. As a result, these rural residents lack the basic infrastructure necessary for development.

Microfinance, commonly defined as providing loans to poor people to help them start small businesses, offers one of the best solutions to global poverty. For example, a seamstress might borrow money to buy a sewing machine.  This business generates stable income, which gives the seamstress and her family access to healthcare, improved housing, or perhaps most importantly, education.  By empowering people to take control of their own lives, microfinance differs from the cycle of dependency created by previous methods of poverty alleviation.

expectation to realization

interest ignites action.
action defines pattern.
pattern establishes foundation.
foundation breeds trust.

i'm tired of the runaround; you bore me.
